
A Cordoban family suffered a tragic accident during their vacation in Rosario, resulting in the death of a mother and her teenage daughter. Tania Daniela Gandolfi, 41 years old, and her daughter Agustina Magalí García, 16, lost their lives in the incident. The driver responsible for the collision, identified as Agustín L., was driving over 120 km/h in an area with a speed limit of 60 km/h, striking the family. The mother and the younger daughter died on the spot, while the remaining daughter is still hospitalized, but her condition is favorable despite having a hematoma in the liver due to the crash.
Abril Benítez, the goddaughter of the deceased woman, shared that the younger daughter is still under medical observation for precaution, due to the hematoma. The father, Diego García, is in shock and receiving psychological support after witnessing the tragedy. The responsible driver is hospitalized under police custody for chest and lumbar injuries at the Clemente Alvarez Emergency Hospital (Heca).
The Prosecutor's Office is waiting for the young man to be discharged to charge him with double homicide with potential intent, a crime that carries a penalty of between 8 and 25 years in prison.
